We at Les Soeurs are looking forward to a calendar of exciting creative events to be led by truly gifted artists, teachers and performers. Fewer workshops and smaller group numbers however, make booking early recommended.

Stitching a Sense of Space with Ekta Kaul
This is a rare opportunity to spend concentrated time with Ekta Kaul, known internationally for her exquisite textile cartography. Her hand-stitched maps are not only beautiful objects in their own right but they are also repositories for memory, and portals to places of personal and collective history. She teaches her pared down aesthetic using graphic marks and lines which are underpinned by a methodical, skilful and thoughtful approach to making with meaning, whilst maintaining a deep interest in heritage and a firm commitment to sustainability. Winner of countless awards, she is featured in the current issue of "Hole & Corner's Issue 22 : Family"

Moving Memories with Anne Kelly
An opportunity to share Anne’s seemingly endless creative energy and enthusiasm as she recommences her “live” workshops after a busy year of online classes and talks. In 2021 her work was featured in 'Unravelling Women's Art'; London’s Fashion and Textile Museum; 'Ain't the Archies' international portrait exhibition in Australia (where she will be hosting a solo show, 'Travelled', later in 2022); SEW artists in Rome; “invited guest” at 'Pour l'Amour du Fil' in Nantes; and finally her well-received solo exhibition 'Well Travelled' at Ruthin Craft Centre.
