Set in the peaceful Dordogne countryside of South West France, Les Soeurs Anglaises is a private creative retreat surrounded by gardens, open countryside and the small-town life of the Périgord Vert. Our rural location is part of the experience: a place to slow down, concentrate and enjoy time away from everyday routines.
For retreat participants, a transfer to the venue is organised at a charge of 50€ from Bergerac Airport or Angoulême Train Station at the designated collection times and is not included in the retreat price.. Collection and return times are confirmed when the balance payment for your workshop is due. Transfers normally take place on the first afternoon and final morning of the retreat.
Please do not book flights or train tickets until your retreat has been confirmed and your participation fee has been processed.
ARRIVALS & TRANSFERS
There are several ways to reach us from the UK and elsewhere in France. Routes and flight schedules change, so please check current services before booking. The options below are the routes most commonly used by our guests.
from London (STN), Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Scotland to Bergerac, Limoges and Poitiers
from Gatwick to Bordeaux. From Bordeaux airport you will need to transfer to the train station for a direct train to Angouleme (about 35mins) where we will pick you up at a notified time.
from London St Pancras to Lille (highly recommended), Paris and Charles De Gaulle airport
