RAMIRO CLEMENTE
Mixed Media and Creative Transformation
About the WORKSHOP
Join Ramiro Clemente for an immersive experience in expressive drawing, improvisation and mixed media, and rediscover the joy and freedom of creating without waiting for the perfect idea. Through colour, collage and layering, you will learn to trust your intuition, transform accidents into visual possibilities and make more conscious artistic decisions. With Ramiro’s practical and personal guidance, you will recognise what is already alive in your work, strengthen your visual language and leave with greater confidence, clearer direction and lasting creative independence. In this workshop, participants will gain insight into Ramiro’s creative process, discovering how drawing can become a tool for experimentation, storytelling, and personal expression. Through hands-on exercises and demonstrations, he invites artists of all levels to explore new ways of seeing and creating.
Ramiro Clemente is an Argentine artist based in Barcelona, known for his distinctive approach to mixed media. His work combines drawing, painting, collage, image transfer, calligraphy, and expressive line work to create layered compositions filled with texture, movement, and contrast. His creative process is driven by improvisation, curiosity, and a constant balance between freedom and intention.
Alongside his artistic practice, Ramiro teaches workshops and mentors artists from around the world. Rather than encouraging people to create perfect pieces, he helps them build confidence, embrace experimentation, and develop their own visual language. and as a Royal Talens ambassador, he continues to explore new ways of pushing the boundaries of contemporary drawing.
At the heart of his teaching is the belief that creativity grows through curiosity, practice, and the courage to create—not by avoiding mistakes, but by embracing them and using them as part of the final result. His distinctive visual language combines poetic and surreal imagery, creating works that are both playful and deeply evocative. His art has been exhibited internationally and has featured in publications and collaborations across Argentina, Spain, and the United States.

The studio is situated at L’Espace, a spacious, light-filled creative hub with some of the accommodation attached. from the Maison de Maître, where guests gather for meals and shared moments, the studio offers both quiet independence and a sense of community, with some adjoining accommodation nearby. Designed for workshops, retreats and collaborative projects, the studio features long shared worktables that encourage creativity and exchange.
