What previous participants have said about Simon and his teaching:
"Simon is one of the most generous and articulate writers and teachers I have had the pleasure of meeting and his deep knowledge of the screenwriters' craft has made every encounter I have had with him exciting, challenging, immensely productive and thoroughly enjoyable..."
STEPHEN SEWELL, playwright & screenwriter"I have learnt more from the teachings of Simon van der Borgh than I have learnt from any book I have ever read on screenwriting. He crystallizes script language in an easily understandable way and I highly recommend the teachings of Simon to any screenwriter at any level. His enthusiasm, patience and natural comedic timing make screenwriting fun again..."
JUSTIN KERRIGAN, writer & director, HUMAN TRAFFIC and I KNOW YOU KNOW"Simon has been instrumental in my journey. He was a major factor in my story KIDULTHOOD going in the right direction, and his methods and intelligent and helpful way of working got that to the big screen, and boosted my career..."
