About Priscilla Jones

Priscilla has been producing contemporary embroidered textiles since completing her degree in Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1997. Her work focuses on the use of found materials, creating pieces that evoke personal memories of her childhood and love of sewing. Living on the Northwest Coast of England, Priscilla is constantly inspired by her environment; and working at her studio and gallery her pieces reflect the faded beauty, soft tones and nostalgic textures imagery of the local surroundings. Her works are sold and exhibited across the U.K. and Europe, with many pieces held in public and private collections.

Awards includes Award for Excellence British Craft Trade Fair 2002, Best Product at Flair, Belfast 2006, Best Stand at The Art Market in Holmfirth 2009.

In 2003 Priscilla and her husband opened the Edge Gallery In Lancaster specializing in contemporary fine and applied art.
