About Lucretia

Lucretia Grindlewas born in America and spent her childhood in both the US and the UK. She has written scripts for both theatre and television and has contributed to newspapers and magazines in the US and Canada.

Lucretia’s novel, The Nightspinners, published in 2003, was shortlisted for the CWA Silver Dagger Award. The Faces of Angels, published in 2006, was chosen by BBC Radio 4's Front Row as one of the six best thrillers of the year. Her next novel, The Villa Triste, is due for publication in 2010. Beyond writing, Lucretia's interests include Sports Psychology and, due to her family connections to both the Sioux and the Apache tribes, Native American history. She and her husband presently divide their time between Devon in the UK and a pleasantly derelict farmhouse on the coast of Maine.
