Workshop overview

This five day workshop is a rare opportunity to work alongside the celebrated knitter, Patricia Roberts, discover her inspirations and learn some of her knitting skills and innovations. It is planned for one morning and/or afternoon to be spent at a local market and brocante where inspirational textiles and yarns can often be found.

The number of participants will be limited to ensure personal attention and there will be an opportunity at the start of the workshop to discuss, individually and as a group, knitting ability, yarn preferences and project choice. Some basic knitting skills are recommended.

About Patricia Roberts

The knitter, Patricia Roberts, needs little in the way of an introduction. Celebrated since the late 1960s for her inspired use of colour and form, she is still producing exquisite sweaters and accessories which sell to devotees and knitting aficionados from all over the world.

She has written over 11 knitting pattern books and has received the Duke of Edinburgh Award for her achievements as a designer. Patricia has her own shop in Knightbridge, London from where she sells to devotees from all over the world.
