Les Soeurs Anglaises

Improvisational Comedy

17th - 21st MAY 2018 / bookings now closed

Come along and enjoy 3 wonderfully immersive days of spontaneity, laughter and fun, as you explore together the techniques and enjoyment of Comedy Improvisation, in the glorious surroundings of the Les Soeurs Anglaises and in the company of the superb comedy improvisation company, Instantwit!  There'll be plenty of time to explore the liberating mindset which underpins all comedy improvisation (which is a wonderfully liberating life-skill in itself) of “yes and...” as we re-discover, re-tune and “unleash the beast” of your true sense of spontaneity!

No previous experience of acting, performing or comedy improvisation necessary - just a willingness to take part, and a general desire to access more fun and spontaneity in your day-to-day life.  This really is an experience not to be missed!

the project

Instantwit is a highly acclaimed and long established Comedy Improvisation show and Company based in Bristol.  They have been performing their show nationally & internationally for over 20 years.  The workshops they have created are carefully structured around improvisational comedy to meet the particular needs of the individual participants. Highly creative, always surprising, and without doubt provoking a great deal of laughter, this three day workshop will include the opportunity on Saturday evening to sit back, alongside members of the public, relax and enjoy a full performance of Instantwit.  Sunday, the final day of the workshop, will consolidate all that has been learnt and experienced so far, whilst working towards a “big finish”, decided upon by the group.
